Game On
This past weekend, the OHTSL announced the travel soccer season will be starting the weekend of September 13, 2020. This is amazing news that none of us were sure was going to happen. With this announcement comes new guidelines from the state that were updated on 8/21. Here are the important changes. First, everyone must wear a mask pretty much from the moment they get out of their car, until they get back in their car. The only people who are allowed to remove their masks are the players when they are on the field at a game, the referee so he can use his/her whistle, and players at practice who are participating in drills and activities. Also, everyone must practice social distancing of 6'. Once again, this does not include players on the field, but it does include coaches, players on the bench, and any fans. Spectators who are family members are asked to sit together. These are the guidelines as provided by the state. Everyone has their own opinion on the current situation, but the reality is we all want the kids to play. We ask that all of our PSC families help us keep the fall season a reality by making sure we are all following the guidelines.
Here is a link to the state website with the current guidelines, if you would like to check them out. After clicking on the link, click on 'Coaches and Student Athletes', then click on 'Youth, Collegiate, Amateur...'

Polish Off Them Cleats!
The 2nd Annual PSC Family Fun night is just under 3 weeks away! This year's event will be held at James Day Park on Field 2 on Saturday, September 12 at 6 pm. Have you claimed your roster spot yet to take on those know-it-all coaches? There are still plenty of spots open as only 7 brave souls have stepped up to the challenge so far. If you are planning on attending the event, please click the link below. Also, if you can't wait to finally get your chance to slide tackle Coach Al, you can reserve your spot on the squad using the same link.
Besides the greatest soccer game ever to be played, our Family Fun Night will also include our fundraiser raffle, snacks, drinks, and a basket raffle with a few nice offerings that include free passes to Jungle Junction, Burning River Roller Derby, $75 off Cleveland Sky Dive, and more.

Your night of family fun begins here!

Things are heating up!
The competition to sell the most raffle tickets (and apparently beat Coach Al) is in full force! Our prizes of $1000, $500, and $100 will be drawn on September 12 at our Family Fun Night. Also, our top seller will enjoy a prize of $125. All money and unsold tickets must be turned in by September 10. Tickets will be available for sale at the Family Fun Night. To purchase tickets, or to get more tickets to sell, please contact our Community Rep Katie Arementa at (440) 785-3680.
